In a city hotel our size only few people frequent the restaurant. Due to our proximity to the centre 600m or 8 minutes by foot, a lot of our guests prefer eatin in onr of the numerous restaurants in Passau. At our reception we kindly suggest you some restaurants in Passau.

At our reception we will also gladly hand over you some flyer of delivery-service. You can order the food directly to your room or to our reception.

You may as well enjoy your brought along food in our restaurant as well as on our terrace, where we will gladly serve you drinks alongside.

    Tag 2 (Bsp.):

    Lernen Sie die Stadt Passau kennen; die junge alte Stadt an der Donau, Inn und Ilz .
    Stadtführung / Domführung mit Orgelkonzert.
    Passau lebt von seiner bewegten Geschichte und seiner lebendigen Vergangenheit.
    Verwinkelte Gassen, 3-Fluss-Eck, Passauer St. Stephans-Dom, die größte Kirchenorgel der Welt, Rathaus mit Glockenspiel sind einige der Höhepunkte an diesem Tage.

    Tag 3 (Bsp.):

    Ilztalwanderung mit Veste Oberhaus.
    Wandern entlang des Flüsschens Ilz, dem bayr. Juwel der Perlenfischerei. Über den Stadtteil Hals mit der geschichtsträchtigen Burgruine gelangen Sie zur Veste Oberhaus, mit der fürstbischöflichen Geschichte und dem Museum zur Handwerkskunst und dem Salzhandel in Bayern.

    Tag 4 (Bsp.):

    Busfahrt nach Salzburg inkl. Stadtführung (Österreich).
    Festung Hohensalzburg, Dom, Schloss Mirabell mit Garten, Getreidegasse, Haus der Natur, Festspielhaus, Geburtshaus Mozarts sind an diesem Tage die Glanzlichter.
    oder
    Busfahrt Arber-Bayrischer Wald
    Über Passau zur historischen Glasbläserei Joska Bodenmais, anschließende Fahrt zum großen Arber (1456) und seinem gleichnamigem See.

    Rückreise übers Museumsdorf und Dreiburgensee in Tittling nach Passau.
    oder
    Busfahrt nach Krumau inkl. Stadtführung (Tschechien) / Weltkulturerbe.
    Entlang des Moldaustausees in die Böhmerwald-Stadt Krumau, mit der beeindruckenden Schwarzenberger-Burg, dem historischen Marktplatz, dem roten Tor, dem herrschaftlichem Brauhaus, dem Minoritenkloster und dem Clarissinnen-Kloster.

    Tag 5 (Bsp.):

    Ein Entspannungstag nur für "Sie"!
    Sei's zum Bummeln, Schwimmen, Eislaufen, Schlafen, Ausruhen, etc.
    oder vielleicht (noch) ein wenig Kultur:
    Besuch von Museen, Konzerten, Kabaretts...

    Tag 6 (Bsp.):

    Radeln im Inntal von Passau bis Schärding und retour:
    Passau - Neuburg - Vornbach - Schärding - Wernstein - Passau
    Eine schöne Radstrecke entlang des Flusses Inn, mit abwechlungsreichen Naturpfaden und kleinen Most-Schänken zum Einkehren. Nicht zu vergessen: die schöne Barockstadt Schärding mit seiner bekannten Silberzeile, den typisch österreichischen Kaffeehäusern und der romantischen Innpromenade.

    Tag 7 (Bsp.):

    Schifffahrt nach Linz - mit Bus oder Bahn retour (Österreich):
    Passau - Obernzell - Aschach - Linz
    Linz ist eingebettet in das obere Donautal und das malerische Mühlviertel. Die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten: Hauptplatz mit der Dreifaltigkeitssäule, das Stift Wilhering, Pöstlingsberg mit der steilsten Zahnradbahn und seiner Märchengrotte.


     

    Je nach Jahreszeit sind einzelne Vorschläge eventuell nicht durchführbar.

    Day 2: (example)

    Discover Passau, the city of the three rivers,
    Guided tour of the city and the cathedral, organ concert.
    Passau lives from its changing history and living past. Crooked alleys, conjunction point of Danube, Inn and Ilz, the largest church organ in the world, Town Hall with chime of bells. These are only a few highlights of this day

    Day 3: (example)

    Walking-tour along the river Ilz and the Fortress “Veste Oberhaus” . Stroll along the river Ilz, the Bavarian jewel of pearl-fishing.
    Passing the district “Hals” , dominated by a medieval castle ruin , you reach the “Veste Oberhaus” with its Episcopal history and its museum for craftsmanship and the salt-trade in Bavaria.

    Day 4: (example)

    By bus to Salzburg (Austria) with guided tour:
    “Hohensalzburg” fortress, cathedral, “Mirabell” Palace with gardens, “Getreidegasse, House of Nature, Festival Halls and Mozart’s Birthplace are the highlights of this day.
    or
    By bus to the “Arber” region in the Bavarian Forest. Stop by the historical glassblowing “Joska” Bodenmais, travel onward to the lake and mountain Arber (1456 m) .

    Visit the open-air museum and the “Drei-burgensee” lake in Tittling on your way back
    or
    By bus to Krumau (Czech Republic)/ World Culture Heritage. Travel through the Bohemian Forest and along the large Vltava storage lake. In Krumau, visit the impressing “Schwarzenberg” castle, the historical market place, the Red Gate, the stately brewery, the Minorite Monastery and the Clarissian Convent.

    Day 5: (example)

    A day to relax:
    Window-shopping, swimming, skating, jogging, sleeping … It’s up to you! Or some more “culture”? visit a museum, go to a concert.
    There are many possibilities ...

    Day 6: (example)

    By bicycle along the river Inn to Schärding (Austria) and back:
    Passau - Neuburg - Vornbach - Schärding - Wernstein – Passau
    A beautiful biking route with various nature trails und small taverns to make a pause.
    And last but not least: the beautiful baroque city Schärding with its famous “Silberzeile”, typical Austrian coffee-houses and the romantic promenade along the Inn.

    Day 7: (example)

    By ship down the Danube to Linz (Austria), back by bus or train:
    Passau - Obernwell - Aschach – Linz
    Linz is embedded in the upper Danube valley and the picturesque “Mühlviertel”.
    The most important sights: “Pöstlingsberg” with Europe’s steepest mountain railway and a landscape of fairy tale scenes, Main Square with Trinity Column, and “Stift Wilhering” monastery.
